During my time abroad, I had the opportunity to work for a local Spanish company, Lemon Yoga Sevilla. I worked Monday-Thursday in the evenings and Fridays from home. I was in charge of greeting all of the clients while also keeping the studio ready and clean. Most days, I was the only person in the studio which challeneged me to step out of my comfort zone and speak Spanish with the locals. In addition to working the front desk, I designed multiple flyers, Instagram posts, and updated the business' Google My Business daily. The team quickly welcomed me and I became apart of their family allowing me to have people to rely on in a foreign country. I worked for a total of 120+ hours with this business and gained a deep understanding of how business is done in a Spanish-speaking country. This internship gave me a desire to learn more about cross-cultural marketing and how differnt it is to sell a product in Spain compared to in the states.
