Samples of Coursework

During my time at Clemson and studying abroad, I completed projects and coursework that gave me insight into different cultures and academic disciplines. These assignments challenged me to think critically and apply my knowledge in both English and Spanish. The work on this page highlights some of the most impactful projects that shaped my learning and growth.

Business Proficiency 

Social Media Marketing: This course focused on making brand audits based on a company's social media. This project is an audit about Rhode Cosmetics.

Global Business: For this assignment, my group and I conducted a Foreign Market Assessment of the possibility of putting a Walmart in Colombia.

Internship Abroad: For my internship in Spain, I presented how to have international success through cross-cultural marketing.

Macroeconomics: My group and I used the example of jewelry and insulin to explain demand elasticity using substitution and income effects

Professional Business Writing: I was assigned to pick a local small business and communicate with the owner ways to address unmet customer demands and offer alternatives.

Linguistic Proficiency 

In this class we were required to do our final project comparing culture in the states vs. in Spain.

Spanish Composition for Business: I conducted a research analysis as if I were starting an International business in Japan.

Survey of Spanish Literature: My class was assigned to read Lazarillo de Tormes and describe a central theme that this 16th century novel revealed

Spanish for Business: I had to come up with a new business idea to market to the community in Sevilla, Spain.

The Hispanic World: My partner and I presented how the effects of the colonization of Latin America and the changing roles for women led to femicide.
